ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
All subjects in Elementary and Middle school are taught through Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). CLIL is a competence-based teaching approach. Students learn both the subject and the language at the same time. CLIL encourages the use of curricula which promote the right academic and interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and language skills which are in demand by today’s society.

THE INTERCULTURAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN MICHIGAN
Since 2014 students in grade 3 middle school have the opportunity to be part of a full immersion experience in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. During two weeks students stay with an American family and attend classes at Mt. Pleasant High School. This experience helps them improve their intercultural competence by understanding how other cultures live, learn, think and relate with others.
